Unvented Cylinder Service

Service Description

If you do not have any cold water tanks in the loft and your system is run by mains water pressure it is likely that you have an unvented cylinder! these should be serviced annually! On an annual unvented cylinder service we will carry out the service to the manufacturers specifications in the instructions and fill in the service logbook in the back of the manufacturer's instructions if they are available. Most Services usually include: -Checking operation of safety devices -Checking the dis-charge pipework is carrying water away adequately -Checking that any immersion heaters fitted are working correctly and that they are controlling the water at a temperature between 55°C and 65°C -Checking the pressure in the expansion vessel is charged to 3 bar and repressuring if needed. -Checking filters in cold water combination valve -Fill in the Service Log Book if available at time of service. If your boiler service is due go back to the 'Book Online' Section and choose the combined boiler and unvented cylinder service to save money!

The First hour charge will still be due if there is no answer at the property unless cancelled 24hrs before.
